During the annual PAC business meeting this year, PAC was proud to present Kurt Carr (left) with a plaque commemorating his over 40 years of service to the SHPO, State Museum, and PAC. This plaque, conveyed upon the occasion of Kurt’s recent retirement, was presented by PAC President Ira Beckerman (right).
The plaque reads: For his over 40 years of service to the Commonwealth as Head of the Archaeology Section and at the PA State Historic Preservation office and to the Pennsylvania Archaeological Council, in promotion of archaeology and the history and prehistory of Pennsylvania. Presented this day April 8, 2022.
